14-year-old girl hit by car in Goldsboro, driver will not be charged
A 14-year-old girl was struck by a car Monday night in Goldsboro.
According to the town, emergency officials around 5 p.m. responded to the scene at 700 N. Berkeley Blvd., close to Berkeley Mall and Langston Drive.
A spokesperson for the town said the driver stayed at the scene and will not be charged.
The girl was transported to UNC Health Wayne and then transferred to Vidant Medical Center for treatment. Her condition of the girl is unknown.
