Man shot in the head Wednesday night, police say
Police are investigating a shooting Wednesday night in Fayetteville.
According to police, the shooting happened just before 7 p.m. at a convenience store on Murchison Road.
Police said they arrived at the scene and found a man with a gunshot wound to the head.
The man is at Cape Fear Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the investigation is active and asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 919-483-8477.
