The body of a teenager found in Raleigh’s Pate Park, police investigate
Raleigh police are investigating the discovery of a teenager’s body found at Pate Park near Lake Wheeler Road on Saturday evening.
Officers responded to the scene on the 2640 block of Sierra Drive after receiving reports of a body found.
The victims family says she was 17-years-old.
The cause of death and the identity of the individual are unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and police do not believe its a homicide.
